Favourite Fall Fashion Trends 2018

Welcome back! Today I am so excited to be collabing with @fashionablybrooke ! I really recommend following her blog and Instagram! We though that we would both share our favourite fashion trends for autumn/fall this year. There are so many gorgeous styles this year so I’m going to show you my top 5. Her favourites should be up on her blog!

1.Animal Print

Starting off with maybe the most well known trend of this season: Animal Print. I especially love leopard print midi skirts and dresses, like the one above. For Autumn/Winter in the Uk, we might need something warmer on the top though as it gets freezing at this time of year! Animal print is so fun yet also elegant at the same time, and an amazing statement piece to have.

2.Layers on Layers

Lots of layers have been seen on the runway recently, maybe slightly over the top for every day wear, I mean seven coats are a bit much to wear all at once right?!

However I do like to layer clothes such as a hoodie and a coat like above or even a jumper and a denim jacket. It makes it more wearable for every day while still keeping warm, just without seven layers! Seriously, look up that trend online – it’s crazy! Keeping things casual and cute is the way to go for me.

3.Tartan/Plaid Print

Plaid/Tartan is quite an autumn staple every year I would say, but it never goes out of style! If you saw my Primark haul a few weeks ago, you would have seen a plaid skirt I got in red and I talked about how it made me feel extremely festive for this time of year and I am so excited to start wearing it with boots, a jumper and maybe one of my blanket scarves when it’s really cold!

4. Teddy Bear coats and brown outfits!

Teddy Bear jackets were super popular last year and I think they will be again! I posted a couple of pictures of me in one that’s a similar colour on my Instagram (@coffeeeandcreamblog) hehe sorry for the plug, but they are the cosiest things ever! I have another one this style in black and white but I accidentally ordered it in the wrong size and they ran out of my size, but oh well I’m going to attempt to make it work. The brown colour of the jacket in the photo above is also a colour trend this season, where people are saying brown is the new black.

5. Baby Blue

My final favourite fashion trend of this season is Baby blue outfits! Again, this is a colour theme that is in right now and I’m obsessed with it! In the outfit above you can see the layering trend again, and it feels so cosy! The blue colour is so pretty and wintery and honestly makes me excited for Christmas and the cold. Does anyone else love when it gets cold so they can wear cosy clothing? I think I might prefer cold weather to hot, I don’t know?
